Everything was very good, including superfriendly staff. It was silent, modern and with nice balcony. The location was great and lovely, 20 minutes' walk to the centre.

Staff, when there, prompt at dealing with problems and friendly and helpful. Room was large, clean and quiet. Large fridge and kettle useful.Very good about letting me leave case in room till the evening I left.
Would have liked hair dryer and plate and basic cutlery. As staff only there for limited hours would like emergency numbers in room and also information on when to pay and perhaps on local transport. As room only cleaned once a week helpful to have cloth and cleaning material to clean bathroom and dustpan and brush for floor. Also another wastepaper bin.

The food here was freshly made and they had a lot of options to choose from! 😋 the location was convenient which was a plus. the staff knew what they were doing - we had a smooth check-in and were able to check out late.

Convenient organization, even for arrivals at late night. Excellent connection with the center with tram lines 15 and 16, or 20 min on foot
Bed sheets doubtfully clean, and there was blood on the window curtains!

Situation regards to our final destination ( Pratteln ) and to the city center of Basel.
It seems we were in a hospital room, nothing inside, small space, no coffe machine like it was in the description, employees of the hotel never say good morning or other signs of politeness.

In an apartment I expect a bit more than only 2 glasses and 2 cups of coffee.

The room was basic and adequate for a short stay in Basel, ideal for somebody with a tight budget and just requiring a base to start from.
Lack of staff over weekends to sort out queries arising for travellers arriving after 1700 hours on Friday.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, as it was a short walk from the main train station and close to tram stops. The staff was also helpful and provided us with plug converters, which was a nice gesture. Additionally, the beds were very comfortable and the shower had an eco-friendly soap dispenser.
One drawback of the hotel was that the walls were quite thin, and we could hear conversations from the neighboring room. Another issue was the lack of air conditioning, as the room and bathroom were consistently hot.

Pleasant experience there. Functional, low-budget property. Especially helpful and competent staff onsite. Easy check-in and a nice size room with hairdryer, holed sheets, for instance. A convenient decor. Close to a tram line and residential area.

Good value at a time when other hotels in Basel were charging higher rates because of the fair in the city.
